All sales are final and no refunds are available on software purchases since we ship most products with source code. All our software products are available in fully functional demo versions, so if you're unsure of a product's feature set please try the demo versions first or contact us for special arrangements.
Purchasing West Wind Products
You can purchase any product online at the West Wind Web site via secure link in the West Wind Software Store using your Visa, Mastercard, American Express cards or PayPal. Be sure to leave an email address which is used to confirm your registration. Instructions where to download the registered copy of the software from the Web will be emailed to you as soon as your credit card is verified. Optional Disk and/or invoice shipments are available. Note: All documentation is included in Electronic Form only regardless of physical shipment.
We highly encourage online payment by credit card as it is by far the quickest way for you to receive your products via download. However, you can also purchase by phone with a credit card payment (VISA/Mastercard/Amex) by calling (503) 914-6335 or faxing order info to (815) 572-0619.
You can also order by mail with a check drawn on a U.S. bank or an International Money Order. Send the check or Money Order for the order amount plus $10.00 shipping and handling in the US/Canada, $20.00 in all other countries. All payments must be made in US Dollars. Mail orders are returned by standard US Mail, but you may also specify an e-mail address to send the program to receive your copy of the software immediately after processing the order. In order to receive an email notification you must provide a valid Internet email address. Please don't forget to provide an email address!
Purchase OrdersWhile we prefer payment via our online store and credit cards you can also purchase using a company Purchase Order. If you must use a PO, a $15 service charge is applied to the invoice if the invoice is under US $1000. To get a Quote Request for Purchase, please visit our store and fill our our Web Order Form and follow through the order process. On the payment page select Request for Purchase, which will generate a printable form you can use as a quote.
You can then file a Purchase Order from your end. Please make sure to include include a PO number (your reference), the Purchase Request number from the form above, calculation of any shipping charges, full shipping and billing addresses if they differ from each other, and an email address for the recipient of the software as well as an email address for the purchase agent to receive a PDF invoice. You can fax the completed PO to (801) 912-2993 or email to email@example.com.
Please note that we accept Purchase Orders only from our US and Canadian customers. International customers from other locales can use any of our other order mechanisms including Credit Card, PayPal or per pre-paid invoice by check or money order.
ResellersIf you are a reseller please contact Rick Strahl by email with information about your reseller business and a link to your Web site. The resale discount of our products is 20% of the retail price of each product. Upon approval we'll provide you a promo code to apply to online orders to receive your resale discount. Note that international resellers can only order by credit card or pre-payment through the Web site. All non-Web offline orders will be treated as POs which incur a $15 surcharge when under $1000.
If you place a reseller order that will be shipped electronically, please provide the email address of the final recipient of the software in addition to a sales contact email address.
SupportFree support is provided for all products on the West Wind Support Message Board on the West Wind Web site. You can get there by typing http://www.west-wind.com/wwthreads/ into your browser's address line. A Frames capable browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later is recommended) is required for the message board. There's also an offline reader available that makes reading and sending messages more interactive. We work hard to address any issues via the message board so please take advantage of this resource.
We also provide full featured support for any application specific issue or issues that can't be resolved via the message board. Paid Support by phone or email is billed at $150.00/hr payable by Credit Card in ½ hour increments.
