West Wind Web Connection 5.40 Beta released 10/07/2008
West Wind Technologies has released a beta version of Web Connection 5.40 as a preview to a host of new features. This update many small enhancements to the Web Control Framework as well as the core processing engine. The big change in this release is a complete overhaul of the server AJAX controls and client library which can also be used independently of Web Connection. The new client library is based on jQuery which as a result produced a much richer client library API and richer functionality for the supported features. The beta is available to registered users as well as now available as the standard Web Connection shareware download.

West Wind Html Help Builder 4.49 released 09/02/2008
West Wind Technologies has released version 4.49 of West Wind Html Help Builder. Help Builder is a solution to produce documentation for end user applications as well as developer documentation for Visual FoxPro, .NET, Sql Server and various other technologies. Help Builder's unique approach to documentation that focuses on easy content creation, makes the job of creating CHM Help files, HTML documentation and Word documents a breeze. This update is mainly a maintenance release that fixes a number of small issues and adds a few incremental enhancements. Check the link above for details. Help Builder is available as shareware and registered users can update to the latest version through the Check For Latest Version option on the Help Menu.

Web Connection Training At Southwest Fox: Deadline Reminder 08/29/2008
West Wind Technologies will be presenting a West Wind Web Connection Training event again this year at Southwest Fox in October. The dates are October 15th and 16th in Mesa Arizona and will cover usage of Web Connection from the introduction level to intermediate to advanced topics in an intensive and interactive 2 day format.
