My computer has a media card reader for SD/XD/CF/... built in. In windows there were 4 drive letters assigned (by default I assume) to these "drives".

I removed the drive letters and that did allow FAA to load without error.

It is not clear to me why this error only happens with the FAA program. Is the FAA startup program checking all drive letters for some reason?

You probably have a drive letter without a physical drive.
If so, this a Windows issue we can hardly workaround
You may try to remove the useless drive letter.

I can press Cancel, Try Again, or continue. The message is shown a second time. If I press Cancel, Try Again, or continue again the FAA program loads.
