This section covers topics of the issues involved in installing a Web Connection application on a live Web Server. This process usually consists of:
- Compiling your project for deployment
- Deploying your Application Files (Binaries, Data and HTML/Scripts)
- Configuring the Web Server
- Configuring Web Connection
- Configuring COM operation (COM Mode only)
After you've deployed files the easiest way to perform the remaining tasks is by using the Server Configuration Wizard, which lets you do the following:
- Create Virtual Directories
- Create Scriptmaps
- Synch Web Connection INI files (<YourApp>.ini and wc.ini)
- Register COM object
- Configure DCOM Security
