As you found older versions of wwIPStuff (v4.x) doesn't support SSL. The newer versions 5.x and later use the wwSMTP component that provides SSL support via .NET. wwSmtp has the same interface as wwipstuff did so code changes usually just require changing the class usesd plus switching to the .NET component and turning on the .lUseSsl switch.

Aloha,

I just need to send SMTP emails with attachments. I found a sample in Experts exchange which has worked in the past and I purchased the WW Internet Protocols product, but it runs into permssions errors since I am trying to use Gmail which uses port 587. Should I upgrade to WW Internet and Client Tools and how do I do that w/o paying twice?
