I've put together a form that loads Word documents using Rick's post from many years back - but it's using the Web Browser control as a container. I'm sure that was to simplify the DOM to make development and distribution easier.

The trouble is, with today's versions of Windows, whenever I open a Word document with that control, it asks 'Do you want to open or save this file?' because, well, that's what IE does when opening a Word document.

Has anyone successfully embedded the Word ActiveX control directly into a form? I assume that would resolve this particular problem. Any samples, guidelines or warnings about implementing this?
