This interactive training covers a wide variety of topics starting with an overview of Web development with Visual FoxPro and the Web Connection architecture and how it works. The rest of the training then delves into a hands on walk through of building a small Web Connection application from scratch, starting from creating a new project, configuring the Web server and creating your actual application layout and code logic for data access, databinding and managing application flow. We'll start with the basics, go through the core concepts of how to layout your HTML, how to hook up FoxPro code, how to use the powerful databinding and validation features in the Web Control Framework and built by way of example, and then also delve into more advanced topics like using AJAX as part of your application and properly tuning and deploying your applications.

This training is brand new as it focuses on the new technology in the Web Control Framework. The content is appropriate both for beginners and accomplished Web Connection developers as sessions are full with hands on tricks and tips, and open to interactive discussion. Format is class-room style, with trainer led demonstrations in an interactive atmosphere - you drive the content through your interaction and questions.

The workshop runs all day for two days, and breakfast, lunch and snacks are covered throughout both days. The first day also features a bonus session with Show and Tell of Web Connection applications (shown by attendees) and a demostration of West Wind Html Help Builder.
