The Project's CSS Style Sheet

Help Builder utilizes CSS style sheets for most of its font attributes and sizing information. Each project contains a project specific CSS file which you can customize to match the look and feel you desire.

The CSS controls formatting for all topics - it's global. The Templates use the CSS for most of the stock font formatting information. You are also encouraged to use the style tags for any markup that requires custom styles in your custom HTML markup.

The CSS style sheet defines font formatting for most of the common HTML tags as well as defining a few custom styles that are specific to Help Builder's formatting. You can access the CSS style sheet in the Topic Type and Template Editor or from the Styles dropdown menu on the Html Edit Toolbar. The style sheet lives in the Templates directory of the project as wwHelp.css. Each project and each theme has its own style sheet.

The styles are grouped into three sections inside of the CSS file:

You can modify the CSS and add your own custom styles as you see fit. You can use the styles in the Topic Type templates as well as in your custom HTML markup. In custom markup the custom styles are available via the Styles dropdown from the Html Edit Toolbar.
