I made a mistake in the previous post when reporting the messages.

The first message is "File is not open" then if I created the "exe" without quitting VFP I get the "File access denied" error.

I also tried switching the compatibility to "Windows XP SP3" and I was able to create the "exe" file once but then it reverted to giving me the same error message.

Hi

I have a continual problem with compiling applications on Windows 7. All most every time I compile I get an error message saying the "File access is denied" for ".vbr" file. This did not happen under XP or Vista but it happens almost all the time in Windows 7. I run as Administrator but this does not help.

If I compile the second time without quitting VFP then I get a second message saying that the file is in use.

Has anyone else seen this problem or have an idea how to fix it?

Regards,
Simon
