The Help Builder Add-in allows you to jump to the matching topic that matches the HelpString provided in the currently selected control or form.

• To access this functionality make sure that there is a HelpProvider on your form and that the current topic has a Help topic associated with it.
  
• Select a control or the form (#1)
  
• Right Click and select Show Help Builder from the Context menu, or from the Help Menu. Alt-F1 also works. (#2)
  
• Help Builder Navigates to the topic if found. (#3)
  

Note Help Builder will not open your help file, so you have to make sure the right file is open first. If the topic cannot be found Help Builder opens the last selected topic.

Work Hint:
Once Help Builder pops up use the Topmost button on the toolbar to set Help Builder to stay always on top so you can work with VS.NET and Help Builder at the same time. Keep the Help Builder window relatively small and let it float over the IDE. This is very useful if you're documenting forms or code you are currently working on. When checked Help Builder stays on top and you can either minimize the form or click on the topmost button again.
