To configure email operation set the following options:
List of email recipients
This entry field allows you to specify the email address of recipients. You can enter as many recipients as you like each on a separate line.
You can specify email formats a couple of ways:
The latter sends an email with a display name that is different from the email address.
Mobile Phones and SMS Addresses:
You can use cell phone and page email addresses to send alerts to your pager and cell phone. For example, Cingular's cell service uses: 8081213211@cingularme.com for addressing a specific cell phone number. Most other cell phone and pager services have a similar mechanism to send text messages to mobile devices.SMS Formatted Messages: Use * at the end
If you are entering an email address that will result in an SMS message, use * at the end of the email address. For example:8081212211@cingularme.com*
The * at the end signifies that the message is to be sent to an SMS address and the message is truncated to 162 characters so that it fits the SMS format. This avoids sending multiple SMS messages if text is longer.
Sender Email Address
This is the email address of the sender that you want displayed. Examples include:
rstrahl@west-wind.com
"Web Monitor" <rick@somedomain.com>
