Welcome to the West Wind Web Store 3.0. This application is provided as a working sample of an e-Commerce Online store. It is not meant to be a generic solution, and it's not meant as a plug-and-play solution. Rather it's meant as an example and template that you can use to start building a custom online store solution on your own. However, the store is fully functional and with only a little minor tweaking for shipping and tax calculations you can be up and running with a customized version quickly. The store is a developer tool and modification to operation of the store will have to be made via code changes. The visual aspect of the store can be modified via HTML templates stored in the Web path (/wwstore) of the application. The application consists of three distinct pieces: The business object classes that manage data access business rules The Web Store Web Connection application and its HTML Templates used for visual display The offline viewer application that can download orders from the online store
