West Wind Web Connection

Web Connection Screen Shots

The following are a set of screen shots from Web Connection's interface for those interested.
Web Connection of course is a server application, so there aren't too many screen shot
opportunities, but this page provides a few...

The Web Connection Management Console
The new Web Connection Management Console provides quick services for creating
projects and configuring your Web server for moving your application online.

Dynamic Form Rendering
Web Connection can render live Visual FoxPro forms on the fly and render them as
rich Dynamic HTML. All VFP form controls are supported including tabbed page frames
as in the example below. Note that all attributes - colors, enabled status are
respected and forms can be driven with minimal external code while the form
knows nothing about the Web application driving it.

Server Administration
Web Connection provides many server administration features, which allow dynamic manipulation of
the running live Web Connect servers. Servers run in a pool of up to 32 local and remote instances
which can be monitored through the admin page below. Servers can auto-restart on timeouts and
failures and servers can be updated on the fly without shutting down the Web server.

Here a screenshot displays 3 servers during stress testing of a Web store application.

Web Connection Log
In addition to server management Web Connection provides for built-in logging and log reporting for
incoming requests. Logs are displayed graphically. Here the log displays the results from an eight
hour run of stress testing of the Web store on the West Wind Web site. Notice the hit rates of
close to 50,000 server hits per hour!
