Maui Winter 2008/2009
Another year on Maui with lots of things changing and happening. This year was marked by major home improvements. After 10 years the house was due for an overall and after a slow start I went all out to improve the quality of living. And with the renovation seemingly a whole new level of social activity has ensued. Lots of get togethers in the new surroundings makes people wanna come back maybe?

  • Shoki House. Chocolate dunking for the exterior of the house. Tasty!
  • The housing inspector testing the proposed flooring. Fazit: Acceptable!
  • Step 1: tear out the nasty carpet.
  • Slowly but surely things get put back. Mike's having a good time on the job.
  • Temporary office in the living room isn't too conducive to work.
  • Nowhere left but one small spot of floor for the entire Ark.
  • Andrew - still stuck in the closet with boards.
  • Albert - also banished to the closet during construction.
  • Finishing up walls - all taking its sweet time.
  • One room down - many more to go!
  • Nothing like a paint job. One room finished!
  • The bamboo flooring close up. Love that texture and color.
  • Done, done, done many weeks later. Floors in the living room.
  • And a closer look. Finally able to move back in after being torn down for nearly a month.
  • Bedroom - done too.
  • Serenty Now corner.
  • The office is now much more open and 'breathable'. No more clutter.
  • Custom desk to fit exactly. Finally some room to work comfortably.
  • Hole in one. Mike fixing the hole in the wall.
  • Andrew, fucking up my roof. Ok, so it's been to put in a Solar Fan, which has been awesome for heat reduction!
  • A fistful of - eh - color.
  • The sea was angry that day my friend. Sucked into hitting golf balls into whale exhaust!
  • Mike is still working on his Golf swing :-)
  • Wave hello to Big Brother...
  • Trying out the new Mesa Boogie. My neighbors hate me!
