For those of you that visit here regularly you might have noticed that the content here has dropped off a bit over the last few weeks. I had good intentions, but as I was on the road for this time I really couldn’t find the energy to do any optional creative work at the keyboard <g>. It’s been almost 4 weeks since I left here from Maui under less than ideal circumstances as I had a hardware failure on my server sitting in Oregon.
Since then I’ve been at two conferences with a couple of consulting gigs in the middle and it’s been a long road. As fun as most of this has been, it’s been very long days, little sleep and a lot of brain drain during this time. IOW, nothing unusal <g> - well a little more than usual maybe.
The most fun part of the trip certainly was the Microsoft MVP summit where I got to meet many of the people I’ve been hanging around with online, many of whom I’ve met for the first time. I certainly appreciate some of the excellent technical discussions I was a part of in these 3 days even if the content of the summit itself was a little on the light side.
Now, finally back home and you can expect to see a little more content coming out of this Web log. That is after I clean up four weeks worth of business housekeeping and the ever exciting final Tax touches next week.
Maui Time isn't going to last long either. In three weeks I'm out of here back for Hood River, followed by a bunch of Spring conferences. I'm going to be in Amsterdam (SDGN: May 10-11th), Berlin (just for fun), then DevEssentials (June 4-9th) and finally DevTeach (June 19-22nd).
Better head off to get some water time in - RIGHT NOW! <g>
