I'm off at PDC for the next few days to have my brain re-adjusted. I feel like I've been spending too much time in my own head lately so the timing for some external input is perfect.

Already had some interesting discussions tonight at the Birds of a Feather architecture sessions. Mario Cardinal's Data Design vs. Object Design session brought some very interesting discussion and perspectives with a wide variety of views. Very entertaining in addition to bringing a few perspectives that I personally had never even thought of.

There's lots of stuff I'm interested in this time around for PDC - including many of the changes coming for IIS 7, ATLAS for ASP.NET and the new data/query integration features into the .NET languages. While that's all far off, I think all of these technologies will have a much bigger impact than a lot of the more evolutionary stuff we've seen in .NET 2.0. Well, wait and see... see, the waiting begins even before the next version is out the door - don't you just hate that?
