I spent a few days at Microsoft last week finding out about new features in IIS 7. There hasn’t been a whole lot of excitement around IIS 7 as there has been so much new technology coming out around the time of PDC, but I think IIS 7 promises some pretty significant improvements for Web developers, especially developers using Managed Code. From what I’ve seen so far both at PDC and at this Microsoft event that IIS 7 will open up a whole new avenue for applications to more generically interact with the Web Server. I’ll post more details in a few days…
