Animated GIF images in hidden page elements

I've run into a problem with animated gifs inside of a hidden area of a Web page that is hidden with style.display='none'. When the area is made visible again, in Internet Explorer this causes the image to not be displayed an animated GIF whatever I try.

Did you know that Web Application Stress Tool (WAST) and Application Test Center (ACT) don't work unless you have a network connection? For those of you demo'ing at conferences or at a client site without a connection, that might come as a nasty surprise.

Application driven Basic Authentication with Apache?

Importing an HTML document into Word via COM Automation and dealing with Image Embedding (revisited)

This entry revisits a topic I talked about earlier and resolves some of the issues I ran into. Specificially this entry deals with importing HTML into Word and forcing images to get embedded into the document and dealing with Word's excessive memory usage (and frequent lockups) when looping through large collections of the document.

Help with working with multiple Unicode Locales in a VFP ANSI application

I've been working on a problem that needs to work with multiple high bit languages in single Visual FoxPro application. Visual FoxPro is not Unicode enabled - only Unicode aware and while i can get a single language/locale to work fine, working with multiple languages eludes me.
