Conference Summary

West Wind Technologies presents a 2 day conference on West Wind Web Connection prior to the Southwest Fox conference in Mesa, Arizona this year on the dates of Oct 15^th & 16^th. The workshop is presented by Rick Strahl in presentation style format. We'll walk you through the process creating a small application from scratch and explore features of the framework along with an overview of how the technology works behind the scenes. Gain a better understanding of the Web Connection architecture while seeing technology used with best practices for the framework and  Web development in general.

This workshop will give existing developers new insight into Web Connection and provide many new and varied ideas and perspectives on how to utilize this powerful product. Since this event focuses on the new features in Web Connection 5.0 even previous training attendees will have plenty of new stuff to look forward to.

There will be ample opportunity to network and talk directly with Rick Strahl and other MVPs in attendence, as well as fellow developers that hang out regularily on the West Wind Message board. Put a face with the names you see online all the time.

And don't forget to bring your questions. Although the training format is presentation style there's plenty of time for questions and working in special requests into the flow of the presentation. The small group atmosphere makes it a natural place for asking questions and interacting with the speaker and open forum discussions with attendees. Rick Strahl is president of West Wind Technologies on Maui, Hawaii. The company specializes in Web and distributed application development and tools with focus on Visual FoxPro and ASP.NET for Web and distributed technologies as well as Training and Mentoring on these topics.
